ABOUT US
Impact Recovery Ltd. is an ACNC registered not for profit Public Benevolent Institution.
We hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, as a recognised welfare and charity organisation.
Impact Recovery is the only long term social-integration model service located in Bendigo providing the opportunity for change and hope for men and women 18+.
Impact Recovery operates on the belief that every individual deserves to live a life that maximises their potential restoring them to their life’s purpose.
We seek to empower people who are living in a cycle of addiction to lead a life of freedom, value and purpose, giving them the self-confidence to become contributing members of society.
Impact Recovery believes that the reasons a person has life controlling addictions are many, therefore the approach to recovery must be evidence based, trauma informed, person-centred and holistic.
This being the underlying foundation for recovery, the approach to our education and individualised support covers four main areas; biological, social, psychological and spiritual. We work with all professional supports within the broader community for the benefit of the individual impacted.
We work to establish a safe, structured and care-managed environment, adopting an abstinence approach through the Therapeutic Community [TC] model, widely recognised globally as highly effective in the provision of peer support as a catalyst for choosing to live addiction free.
Our vision “Freedom from Addiction” is the goal of living well, through recovery, healing, pathways to participation and community.

Location
Situated in Bendigo, Victoria, we are central to a rapidly growing region.
In April 2026 we moved operations from the historic Temperance Hall, View Street Bendigo, to our new home, 3 Merino Court, East Bendigo. We wish to thank Teen Challenge Victoria for giving us a home from which to operate during a period of great growth for our organisation in the Greater Bendigo community.
Our new home is a wonderful combination of office and warehouse space, in which we will be able to provide even greater contribution to the community of care. We will be sure to share more information as we settle into this new opportunity.
